Julie’s home cake studio is stunning, sparkling clean and her cakes on display showcase her wonderful talent and intricate skills. There is no denying she is a perfectionist in all that she does.

Julie is immaculate, has super high standards and her attention to detail is second to none. After listening to our vision, she sketched the most elegant and classy cake, which transformed into a three-tier sparkly, gold lustre, stencilled masterpiece on the day. We were actually reluctant to cut the cake, as it was so beautiful!

Our cake was lime and coconut, which was light, fluffy and zesty. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients and our friends and family loved sharing it with us.

Whatever you do, please, please, please go all out and let Julie make sugar flowers to add the finishing touch to your cake – they are spectacular! Her passion for sugar work shines through in all her creations and they really are show stoppers not to be rivalled.

It was such a pleasure working with Julie on our wedding cake. Because of the Covid 19 Pandemic, we had to change our dates and guest numbers, and therefore the size and style of our cake. Julie was very flexible and very attentive with our requests especially as we had to do all of our communication via email as we don't live in Scotland.

We had a beautiful White Chocolate and Raspberry Cake with the most amazing Sugar Flowers created by Julie.

We decided to get married. And so the frantic arrangements began... I hadn’t a clue where to begin! Pinterest was a great starting point but finding the correct suppliers was the difficult part because how could I be sure that they would give me what I really wanted? You only get one shot at getting your wedding day perfect!

The wedding cake had to be arranged. I had spoken to a couple of cake suppliers and as helpful and lovely as they were, I was hesitant.

 

Julie came recommended. We had an appointment booked over Facetime as we were in early Covid lockdown.  After the consultation,  I confidently knew that I’d found the person to make my perfect wedding cake.

Julie was warm and personable. She was professional, very knowledgeable but most of all Julie just seemed to get me - my taste, my personality , my ideas, my theme etc and incorporated this into  the perfect cake design that I absolutely adored.

Julie was committed to giving me the best service to ensure that we had made the right choice for us, as a couple.

On the day, Julie came to set it up for us. One less thing for me to worry about! The cake looked stunning with the most exquisite, gorgeous sugar flowers that looked so real!
The cakes themselves were beautiful and moist. I can honestly say they tasted most delicious.

Our guests have all remarked on the cake being one of the best that they’ve seen and tasted. After seeing and tasting the cake, one of my guests, who is to be married this year, decided that Julie was making her cake too!

Julie was the first supplier we booked for our wedding. She was easy going and a pleasure to work with throughout the whole planning process. 

 

We had been lucky enough to try some of Julie’s cake samples beforehand and knew instantly that she was going to be the one to design our cake, we were not disappointed in the slightest. Julie delivers an immaculate service. 

 

We had our colour scheme picked out and gave Julie some ideas to work with. Julie designed our cake and was completely on board with our ideas. She planned every detail meticulously and made suggestions which were elegant and well received. 

 

From the first meeting to when we received our beautifully boxed flavour samples we knew our guests would be in for a treat. We picked four favours which each tasted heavenly in their own way.  
 
Julie was professional and friendly every step of the way. She took such an interest in the details of our big day and we could really tell that she loves everything about weddings! Her passion for making things beautiful and attention to detail are second to none. She worked tirelessly to perfect her sugar flower skills and sent us a picture of a white sugar rose she had made for our cake. We were amazed at how realistic it was and knew that our cake was going to be beautiful.

Julie was so organised in delivering our cake and liaising with our venue to arrange set up so we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
