CAKE ORDERS

 

I take bookings for wedding cakes and wedding favours only.  I am no longer taking orders for celebration cakes.

 

BOOKING FEE AND BALANCES

 

If you would like me to make your cake, a booking fee of £100 is required to secure your date. This is non-refundable and non-transferable. The balance of your order is required 4 weeks before your wedding date.  

 

PRICES

As each cake is bespoke I cost up every design individually.  However, as a guide, starting prices are:

 

3 tier (90 portions) from £450

3 tier (120 portions) from £550

4 tier (170 portions) from £690

5 tier (210 portions) from £890

CONSULTATIONS 

 

Consultations are by appointment only and are held in my cake studio at home in Broughty Ferry.  You will be able to view some display cakes before we sit down and have a chat about your cake. We will work through design, colours and flavours.  You will also have the chance to sample some yummy cake.

 

Should you decide you would like a consultation prior to paying your booking fee there is a charge of £25, paid at time of booking your consultation date.  This charge is deducted from the balance of your cake cost should you decide to go ahead and place an order.

 

Please note this is for 2 people only.

 

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER

 

Any changes to you cake order must be made at least 4 weeks prior to delivery / collection.  No changes can be made to the order after this time.

 

DELIVERY 

 

I will deliver to your venue and set up your cake on the morning of your wedding.  I deliver to venues across Scotland. Please get in touch for a quote.

 

If you would rather collect your cake, this is an option, however I do not recommend collection of tiered cakes as they are very fragile to transport.

 

CAKE STAND HIRE

 

I have a selection of cake stands that can be hired to display your wedding cake. There is a charge of £20 per stand to hire for 3 days plus a security deposit in case of any loss or damage.  The security deposit will be refunded once you have returned the stand undamaged.

 

Cake stand hire only available to customers who order a cake.

ALLERGY INFO

 

I do not provide eggless or dairy free cakes.  All cakes contain gluten and may contain nuts or traces of nuts.  Gluten free cakes can be made for those with a gluten intolerance, but not a gluten allergy, as my kitchen is not a certified allergy free work space.
